DinnerData

DinnerData

DinnerData promotes independent and family-run places to eat – helping them to compete with the big chains and giving customers more choice and great offers.

To-date we have established what is arguably the UK’s largest Guide to Independent Places to Eat, with over 25,000 listings published. Diners can search using various criteria as well as use their location to find their nearest venue.

the DinnerData website and “DishDup!” Web App (www.gettinghungry.co.uk) are free for consumers to use.

As well as offering venues various member benefits for promoting themselves, DinnerData started extending the products and services on offer to help them make business efficiencies, including online ordering, paging systems and customer mobile phone charging via ChargerPoints.

Smarter Products – Greater Efficiencies

The business opportunity behind DinnerData was based on venues paying for different levels of membership, as well as supply of products and services aimed to make them more efficient, more profitable and therefore better able to compete.

With the punitive fees charged by leading national online ordering services, our fixed price per month solution provides an opportunity for venues to keep more of what they earn.

It is a similar picture with the pager products. End to free movement with the activation of Brexit means restaurants and cafes having to rely more on technology. Our pager systems can help staffing efficiencies and provide a streamlined service to customers.

Pager Systems were scheduled for pilot deployment spring 2020, delayed by introduction of lockdown restrictions in March 2020
